Welcome to 30 Prompts! A creative community inspired by the many 30-themed prompts of LiveJournal's heyday.
The Idea!
The Tables:
There are a number of tables that you can make claims on.
The prompts can be followed in any order and interpreted in however way you feel fits best.
For tables with bonus prompts, you can either replace an original prompt or fill them as a bonus prompts. Please indicate if you will be doing either when making your claim if possible.
However, certain tables come with certain stipulations, please see each post for details.
Master List of Tables
Style:
The style of your fill is up to your interpretation.
Writers have a minimum of 100 words.
Artists have a minimum of a basic sketch.
No previously posted works will be allowed.
How It Works
Claims:
You (and up to one collaborator) can make two (2) claims from two (2) different fandoms at the same time.
If a claim is made on a specific table, then that is the only time that claim can be used for that table until the challenge is completed. However, the claim can be used on a separate table. For example, if someone claims Harley Quinn x Poison Ivy for 30 Breathtakes, then it can not be claimed again on that table. It can be claimed for 30 Kisses, 30 Hugs, etc.
Specifics:
Fanfiction and fanart are permissible mediums. Fanvids, podfic, and filk are currently being discussed by the mod team.
Original characters, original stories, crossovers between fandoms, fandom characters with OCs, and AUs are all allowed.
There are no restrictions on what kind of ship or fandom you can claim from. If you are claiming a polyship, then all characters in that polyship must be present in the work.
If you are claiming a full fandom you must either create for 30 separate pairings/characters, 15 works for two pairings/characters, or 10 works for three separate pairings/characters. Please indicate which you will be doing in your request.
Request:
Request your claim on each table's respective list (see above).
If you are claiming a romantic ship, please use the designation “x” (Character Name x Character Name)
If you are claiming a platonic ship, please use the designation “+” (Character Name + Character Name)
Include the full names of your claim in alphabetical, Western order. (Haruka Nanase x Makoto Tachibana)
We ask that you use the official localized name for a fandom whenever possible (“My Hero Academia” instead of “Boku no Hero Academia”) for tagging purposes.
I’m Finished!
When you have finished or wish to drop your claim, please reply to your initial claim.
The Deadline:
You must for your pairing at least once in every two month period. Purges of dead pairings will occur February 1, April 1, June 1, August 1, October 1 and December 1. The purge will be announced a week before these deadlines. If you need an extension, please comment on the purge announcement. You can only request an extension once in a four month period.
Posting:
You may either post directly to the community of fake cut to your own Dreamwidth or AO3 post.
You must follow the header and subject posting format listed below.

We are open to suggestions for other tables. If you have a 30 (something) prompt challenge from LiveJournal you would like to see archived or a certain type of theme you would like to see created, please comment on this post.
